Not at all, you can drop off and pick up whenever is best for you within our working hours. You have total control.
They can come as soon as they are fully vaccinated. We recommend socialising them as soon as possible, as the first 6 months of a puppy's development is so important.
This is completely up to you! If you would like to bring your dog lunch, please bring it portioned up in a sealed lunch box with their name on it, and with any instructions needed.
They are taken out in small groups every hour to an hour and a half. This ensures that they don't get too distracted with their friends in the hype of going outside, and are able to focus on what they need to do. Some of our dogs require some extra trips, which we ensure they are given.
With all first time daycare attendees. we start them off very slowly in their own area, allowing them to gather their surroundings. A few dogs will then be slowly introduced to them, who have been personally selected by us, to match your dog best. Once your dog is showing confident behaviour, we will slowly introduce them into the rest of the group.
Due to different allergies and intolerances amongst our dogs, we do not feed treats without your knowledge and permission. On occasion our furry friends bring in treats on their birthday, and you will receive a text from us asking for permission, unless you have already consented to them having treats without being asked each time.
With our daycare licensing, we have minimum and maximum temperatures we have to stay within for the safety & comfort of your dogs.
If, despite all our measures to keep within these temperatures, we go above or below, then you will be called to collect your dog. This is what has to be done to follow our licensing, however, as mentioned we have precautions in place to ensure that this is avoided wherever possible.
In the winter months and soggy days, our dogs play in our indoor area. We have multiple heaters inside, to ensure that everyone is comfortable and safe to play.
We have washing stations available for the end of day rinse downs for our particularly muddy pups.
We have multiple pools for our dogs to splash around in to cool down, along with large sections of shaded areas around our outdoor play area. We are on constant watch of the temperature during hot days, using our thermometers.
If the temperature is starting to reach the maximum allowed by our licensing, all the dogs will be brought inside where it is much cooler.
